Software as a Service

Software as a Service (SAAS) is a model of software deployment where the application is hosted as a service to customers across the internet. Aspect Search is an Application Service Provider. We have built search tools that are accessible to our clients over the internet. The client does not require any software to be installed on their servers.

Benefits of SAAS

• Lower Costs
  Costs of the subscription based application are granular and are incurred only as long as the service is required. There are no large upfront costs for software licenses or hardware infrastructure.
• Zero Infrastructure
  SAAS applications are installed on the providers servers. Therefore investing in expensive hardware is not required. Updates to the core application are made on the server and are immediately made available to all customers, without requiring any upgrades.
• Platform Independence
  No software has to be installed by the customer, it is accessed using a browser. This ensures it can be accessed using any platform, Windows, Unix or Mac.
• Pay as you go
  When you subscribe to a SAAS application you typically pay on a monthly or annually subscription. Often subscriptions are based on metered usage, so you only pay for what you use.
